COLOR MEDITATION PANTING

Explore characteristics of color through guided non-representational painting.  Create beautiful transparencies with natural mineral pigments and fluid watercolor techniques.       

 

Five Elements, Five Senses. Five Classes.
5:30 p.m. - 8:30p.m. on Mondays
March 28, April 4, 11, 18, 25.
FEE:  $285  

Materials and props included. All Levels. No experience necessary

                     

Painting: 

Pure mineral pigments and water, painting on 100% cotton rag cold press paper.

Creating harmonious intuitive Color Paintings using various combinations of color hues and painting techniques. A time to slow down and explore the creative side of ourselves with a non-judgmental approach. 

 

Meditation: 

We will start with a guided meditation that will allow the mind and body to relax into a creative place. You'll be taken on a journey of feeling more calm and open to start your weekend of playing with color.

 

Yoga: 

Explore the location of colors, senses and elements in the body and how an awareness of these connects us to our world from the inside out.  

 

 


Schedule: 

FRIDAY:  March 27

5:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.    Meditation

6:30 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.  Color Meditation Painting: earth/scent   

 

SATURDAY:  March 28

 9:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.   Yoga (class compliments two color paintings of the day)        

11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.   Color Meditation Painting:water/taste

1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.   Break

 2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.   Color Meditation Painting:          fire/sight

 

SUNDAY:  March 29

10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.     Yoga (class compliments two color paintings of the day)

11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.   Color Meditation Painting;air/touch

2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.    Break

2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.   Color Meditation Painting:space/sound
